what is Gearless physique

Gearless Physique is not only a brand. It is not a mere site, a logotype, or a page on Instagram. It is my life story presented in sweat, pain, discipline, setbacks, comebacks and endless belief. This was not an initiation of supplements, flawless genes, or Instagram inspiration. It started with a skinny boy who only weighed 40 kg after high school, with self-doubt and full of fire.

Between 40kg Skinny Boy and the Gym Floor (2006)

I was very skinny after completing high school. My body weight back then was only 40kg. I was not sure about my body, I was not educated on how to train and I even did not know what bodybuilding was. I only knew that I needed to change.

My first visit to the gym was in June 2006. I was enthusiastic, inspired, and thinking great. But life had other plans. All this changed within two weeks 28 June 2006.

The Mishap That Nearly Terminated Before I Started My Travels

I dropped out of the roof of my house. The impact was brutal. My forearm and wrist on the left side were severely broken. I had been plastered, and all the dream of the gym was broken in a second.

Some few months later, when the doctor took the plaster off, I discovered something horrifying, that my hand was not moving, and the pain was terrible. Even mere actions were torture. I was immature, disoriented and psychologically distressed.

I was massaging my arm day by day during six years. Every single day.
The pain did not completely disappear.

The majority would have taken defeat. I didn’t.

Second Entry into the gym- with pain (2012)

I came up with one of the most courageous choices in my life on 28 September 2012. I returned to the gym, but with a broken wrist, severe mobility and pain.
Exercises which I could not do were numerous:

  • Dumbbell pullovers
  • Barbell curls
  • Dumbbell curls

Numerous pushing and pulling movements.
During the workouts, the pain on my wrist was screamingly painful. But there was one promise made to me:
I will not skip the gym. No matter what. And I didn’t.

No Diet. No Supplements. Just Consistency

During two years, I exercised in pain. I took a position, shifted positions, and heard my body. I had no structured diet. No protein powders. No supplements. Nothing more than ordinary food and iron discipline.

Then something beyond belief took place. The pain gradually faded off after approximately two years. My wrist felt normal again. At that moment, my body was developed to 73 kg of pure muscle mass and a well-form figure. The lesson of that stage was a life long lesson:
Regularity is the medicine of inconsistency.

Shoulder Dislocation & Forced Rest (2018)

In 2018, life tested me again. My shoulder that was on the left side dislocated. This time the damage compelled me to be out of the gym entirely, over a period of 10 months. No lifting. No training. It was one of the most difficult moments of my life psychologically. However, despite lack of training, my body weight remained at 83 kg, and I had biceps 17-inches. Years of foundation saved me.
But inside, I was restless. The iron was calling.

Uric Acid Crisis - Losing Abs the First time (2019)

Another significant health problem struck me in 2019, and it was high uric acid. Physicians recommended that I quit intensive training and reduce protein consumption to zero. I again avoided the gym, however, this time, it was 8 months. Then, after these months, I realized something that I have never observed throughout my fitness path:
My abs were gone. That moment hit me hard. It made me realize that fitness is extremely weak when it halts.

The December 2019 Comeback

I came back to the gym in December 2019 with a body weight of 73 kg. And what came after stunned even me. After only two months, I had changed my body to 84kg of muscle mass with massive 17.5 inch biceps. Courage and power, bulk, confidence all came back in flood.
I felt unstoppable.

Marriage, Illness and a 14 kg Weight Loss (2020)

On 14 February 2020, I married my girlfriend. A beautiful turning point in my life. But soon after marriage, I fell seriously ill. Doctors couldn’t identify the exact issue. My health kept declining. After three weeks, I finally recovered—but the damage was done.

  • I lost 14 kg.
  • My body weight dropped to 70 kg.

Physically weak. Mentally exhausted. Emotionally drained.

Then came something no one expected.

COVID-19 & One Year Without Gyms

  • The world went down during my birthday, 22 March 2020, in the context of COVID-19. Fitness stations shut down all over the world–nearly a year. I didn’t give up.
I trained at home. Bodyweight workouts. Limited equipment. Discipline over excuses. It was not the best but it kept my mind alive.

  • Another Fall. Shoulder Dislocation (2021) another.

In 2021, I tripped once more this time up the stairs. Again my left shoulder dislocated. Pain returned. Limitations returned. But my vision didn’t fade.

Opening Be Strong Fitness Club - Injured but Determined (2021)

Be Strong Fitness Club. was opened on 8 September 2021. My shoulder had not yet been quite well. But I appeared daily–not only my own sake, but theirs, who had faith in me. This stage made me a coach rather than a lifter.

Further Transformation - 70 kg to 84 kg (End of 2022)

Slowly. Smartly. Patiently. Again, I gained weight of 70 kg to 84 kg. Not only muscle–maturity, balance and experience.
I was a wise trainee this time, not an egoist.

Becoming a Father (2023): A New Identity

I became a father to a baby boy. I named him Nilansh. Since that time, I was not only a fitness athlete or coach. I became a coach dad. My purpose expanded. I am now training not only to appeal to the eye–but health, long life, and example.

The Monster Bulk – 82 kg to 94 kg (2025)

I began at 82 kg- and exercised until I reached 94 kg, creating what I am proud of, a muscle monster body. Decades of disappointments, injuries, and education eventually came into restrained aggression and intelligent programming.

This wasn’t reckless lifting.
This was earned mass.
